COUTS ATTENDING WITHOUT A PARENT:Scouts who would like to attend without a parent need to travel with, and be the responsibility of, another adult on the trip. Scoutmasters can not be responsible for accommodating single scouts as they may be traveling with their own families and may not have room to do so. If an adult agrees to take on a "single scout," that scout will be assigned a room with a fellow "single scout". No fewer than two unattended scouts/room allowed, per BSA guidelines. Three scouts/room will only be honored if a two per room option is not possible (cost adjusted accordingly). We will try to avoid more than two to a room for unattended scouts. The "Scout Only" rate is based on double occupancy. Single scouts are responsible for arranging their own transportation (to and from VT and also to and from the mountain) in advance. Please do not assume your son has a ride unless you have confirmed it with the adult who has agreed to take him.
